This week’s Barna Minute looks at which generations desire financial guidance from churches and pastors.
In Barna’s report, Investing in the Future, Christian Gen Z, Millennial and Gen X are more likely than their elder peers to strongly agree that Christian churches and pastors have a responsibility to teach congregants how to be generous.
When it comes to the responsibility of pastors teaching Christians how to be generous, roughly two in five Christian Gen Z (40%), Millennials (37%) and Gen X (38%) strongly agree this responsibility lies with church leadership. Only one in five Boomers (23%) and three in 10 Elders (32%) say the same.
