In this week’s episode of The Barna Minute, we discover what emotions U.S. seniors (55+), both dependent and independent, most often experience.
Data from Barna’s recently published report, Aging Well, offers an extensive list of the emotions most often experienced by U.S. seniors and how a seniors’ level of independence or dependence impacts how often they may feel these emotions. Today, we look at the top six emotions.
Dependent U.S. seniors say the emotions they experience most often is chronic pain, with nearly half stating this versus just one in 10 independent seniors (49% vs, 9%). Independent seniors most often say they feel that someone cares for them, with over half (51%) claiming this is true. For dependent seniors, this number is still high, sitting at 41 percent.
